Dear Superintendent Dr. James Tenbusch, 

This is an appeal under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act. I am appealing the action of Dr. James Tenbusch, dated May 25, in response to my Freedom of Information request dated May 22, 2006. 

I enclose copies of my request and the response. My request was for information regarding copies of the email including headers in which my email requesting documentation was forwarded. I was denied access to the aforementioned documentation on the grounds that no electronic transfer occurred and the identity of this person(s) who placed the message on the GoFlo message board could not be determined. 

The denial of my request was unjustified under the Freedom of Information Act because my emails were provided to someone who made an informal request just as I had done.  The act of provided my emails including the identifying headers to another as public record is inconsistent with the refusal to provide me with the same information about the identity to which this information was given.
